The Club can accommodate a wide range of Private functions to meet your needs.

Private Function Room

The Rata Lounge

Located on the lower level of the club is our Rata Lounge. It is independent from the Members area upstairs. The function room has its own fully equipped Bar and rest-rooms which makes it an ideal venue for larger groups or those requiring privacy from the main members area.

Consisting of a very well appointed lounge area with brand new plush carpet and a dance floor.  Here we can cater for 100 persons seated at tables for a luncheon, dinner or supper function.

For those wanting a less formal celebration, a mix and mingle with finger foods, the area can comfortably cater for up to 120 people. A range of menus is available from nibbles to a full buffet menu.

The Lounge is ideal for Seminars, Promotional Events, Trade Displays, Educational Courses, Celebratory Functions and Recitals. It is available for Bookings 7 days a week . A large on site carpark is available as well as ample off-street parking and it's own ground level access makes it a very user friendly facility.

We cater for international entertainers, corporates and innumerous business and private functions. All have been very happy with the venue, bar service and catering.

Rata Lounge Hire for a licensed evening function for non members parties and groups is $250. This includes a fully stocked and staffed bar. (Catering not included)

Where no bar is required the fee is negotiated with the catering manager or club manager.

Main Entertainment Lounge

Located on the upper level this is an expansive members entertainment area which is used by the club to stage International Cabaret Events, Promotions, Concerts, Social Dances and even full RSA Funerals. It is available subject to club use and code of conduct conditions for functions from 80 to 200 guests. Numbers we can cater for depend on advanced booking arrangements, seating etc.

The main lounge has a large elegant fully stocked, fully staffed bar, dance floor and a sound system with a radio microphone. A coin operated juke box is also available. During private fuctions we cordon off a suitable area. The area is ideal for most functions for corporate and private users.

We hold a club liquor licence which means special licensing conditions apply to venue use. Please talk to the club manager about this early to allow for a minimum 20 working day licensing application period otherwise an urgent admin fee may be incurred.
